Pamela Redmon recently joined the Child Mind Institute as its chief marketing officer. The position is a newly created one at the nation’s leading children’s mental health nonprofit.
Redmon arrives from a stint as senior vice president and chief communications and marketing officer at the national anti-hunger nonprofit, Share Our Strength. While there she was responsible for leading the organization’s first rebranding in its 40-year history as well as working extensively on its massively successful No Kid Hungry campaign.

Previously, Redmon served as senior director of strategy at the Partnership for a Healthier America, focusing on childhood obesity prevention efforts as well as supporting Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! campaign.
Redmon also has extensive public sector experience, having worked on national public health communications with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Redmon holds a bachelors degree in political science from Hampton University and is currently working towards a master of public health degree from the Milken Institute of Public Health at The George Washington University.

Redmon will initially focus her work in the new position on growing digital fundraising and small donor programs as well as leading the development of new partnerships with for-profit institutions.
